They are not well made and they are dated. I hope the team will acknowledge this and issue fixes and graphical upgrades for the PC client in the not so distant future. I just wish we had an official response about those issues for once.
I'm also wondering why there is no official response about these issues and have no idea why

I wish they would implement an internal resolution scaler so I can adjust the 3D resolution without switching to Full Screen or adjusting HUD elements. I don't mind FXAA in this game and it works well with a higher resolution to eliminate shimmer.

Is Endwalker going to get any support for different anti-aliasing techniques? Are we going to get DLSS?

I have suggested some better antialiasing options in the german forums 2 years ago. But there is still no feedback. FXAA is one of the worst antialiasing options one can have. It blurrs the polygon edges only. It looks only good on screenshots. You have still shimmering when you have movement on the screen, alphatest textures will not be antialiased at all etc. The only good thing is, it is very fast because blurring edges is very cheap.

    Cheers

FF14 uses a deferred rendering technique so hardware AA is out of the question
