Except the game clearly has a higher resolution shadow map and only uses it when you enabled "Use low-detail models on distant objects," (which makes everything past 10 feet of you look like hogwash).
Dear Square Enix <3
PLEASE, give us real Anti-Aliasing!
holy thread necro
And if they made a new thread, you would have complained that "A thread about this already existed"
I play on ps4 so the whole DX11 thing is honestly lost on me, as I don't do much PC gaming, but I can understand why you guys would want this, and I support that
so what? the problem still exist. should we spam the forum with new anti-aliasing threads instead? jesus..
Damned if you do and damned if you don't.
I recently tried Super-Sampling this game and the difference is staggering. Unfortunately my system doesn't handle it too well and the UI even upped to the max was still way too small. Please Squeenix, give us Hardware AA...or at least an explanation why you haven't/won't.

I'd prefer a necro post like this on a subject that still has not been addressed, than the same complaint on 20 different threads from the last week like we've had with the relics.
It's actually what the moderators prefer as well, I believe, and it's how the JP forums handle all their discussions.
Anyway, I agree wholeheartedly. I'd love to see more graphics improvements, and hardware AA is a good place to start.
Seeing how old this thread is, and the many threads I could find on the forum and elsewhere, people complaining about the lack of satisfying AA options and the amount of flickering, shimmering and glimmering found in the environment no matter how optimized the available settings are, I just don't understand why SE are yet to address the matter.. At least any answer would be better than nothing.![]()
All PC users try this
https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/4260/
then
http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/...-download.html
set it up something like
and then check the improvement![]()
