Character creation is a part of the game as much as gameplay is. Nothing is exempt from critique, opinions or feedback. If it was, the mod would've already changed the thread's title like they did for the petition thread.
So if person doesn't like something about a current race they can tell SE they should change it cause it feeback right and they should listen?
My only complaint is that there isnt an option to make the females more tough/fierce/mature-looking, like this early concept art. I wish they would've stuck to this design.

Sure, why not? If the argument makes sense. Look at the butt thread. Look at the Male Au Ra artwork concept thread. If many people echo what the OP says, then the thread made its purpose, whether the devs do something about it or not. This is not a petition thread, it's a thread where I give my opinion and feedback. Which is not even a negative one (see Overall Rate). I have the impression most of the people on this thread are in agreement.
You are free to make your own thread to ask people to stop feeling entitled to give their 2 cents about new releasent content if you like, see how the community will respond.
Yea cause you know the many opinions/comments/feedback of "we want character's butts back" threads have been listened to...
and not saying people can't give their 2 cents their a difference between feedback (usually listened to and changed) and opinions (just you 2 cents most likely nothing will be done about it)

My main gripe is earring placement.
Even with revealing hairstyles they will be hidden with most - if not all - horn options. Why hide earrings? Those that don't like them, can glamour them with The Emperor's New Earrings.
I was hoping they would be more like Miqote's and dangle from the horns, where some faces have the ornament option, like so:
Apart from Miqote, most hairstyles on rest of the races hide the earrings, I was hoping I could finally roll a nice look AND show-off earrings.
And as someone said in another thread, Gaius did it too! http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb2...del_Render.png
I'm going to have to jump in here and say that feedback, while may be listened to, will not always be acted upon so saying it will usually get changed is a bit of a fallacy. Feedback is and observation and isn't mutually exclusive with opinion, however it is just that and it's up to the developers to act accordingly. In other games there was feedback on character models and some issues that the player base brought up in the same sense that we're bringing up (example being the idle pose for a particular model). Did we have any clue as to whether they were looking at the feedback? Not really, not until a few patches in that it was fixed and addressed. There are other bits of feedback that may have a lot of support over the years, but doesn't get touched upon. What may be a popular idea might not mesh with the vision of their game or they may not have time and is put on the back burner indefinitely.
All in all, yes, this is feedback (but this is also constructive criticism and opinions). Feedback does not automatically equate to something that is and must be acted upon; developer discretion leads to what gets changed and when. We're not privy to their decisions aside from what they tell us, but who knows? They might take it into consideration and something might be done! That's what feedback is for.
That being said, I'll stand by my feedback given on the models. It's just nice if they read this and even chime in on it, even if nothing gets done.

I figured more needed to be said since they were stuck on what counted as feedback and what didn't.
On topic, we can still remain hopeful for future options so we shall continue trying. It might amount to something! Maybe! ... >_> Well, I still have my art and dreams. /cry
