Au Ra Character Creation Feedback

I don't see why the height difference is that big an issue, but then just between me and my sister there's a bit of a difference. Not as much as the Auri but enough to not see it as bad. Plus it gives them another difference from the other races.

The only downside for myself would be the (like just about 50% of the thread) the horns being tied to the faces, and it isn't that big a deal to me. Probably because I like face 4 for females anyways.

There is no pallet for the scales because it would most likely be lore breaking.
Its a mixed race of all the current races + other stuff(According to the lore) and its shows from their features. I'm not gonna list them all but its mostly obvious which gender gets what traits from each race The most obvious ones being female inheriting lala genes and males inheriting elezen with both inheriting roe skin colors. The scale colors are most likely key traits given to each gender of each clan. Xaela having more dominant genes from the Dusk mother and Raen the Dawn father.

SE would be better served if horns were their own selection. I also find that facial scales were a bit overdone, I would have preferred more of these as options in the scales section of creation . I dunno me personally I just don't like a bunch of shit covering my character's face. I think overall this race could be very aesthetically pleasing but the biggest complaint I have so far is they just seem too... busy.

Hairstyles are very good though and I have to wonder where this artistic aptitude was when creating the other hairstyles for all the other races. I also think general female facial structure makes them gorgeous but then there's all the extra crap.

The limbal rings are very nice for this race!!

Its the eye shape for the females I just cant like....nope, they are all bad

Played around with the character creation for a long time but eye shape is just not appealing enough, will definately make an alt character as Au Ra but not change out my main to one.

More hairstyles would have been nice and a LONG (I mean long!!) hairstyle should have been added imo.

Males are great , they have potential with the right tweaking, but I never play a male so didnt spend much time on them.

Females are "ok" (just no "wow" factor to them) appearance wise and males look vicious!
Overall I think they did a good job though!

I want horns to not be tied to faces please, that is my BIGGEST peeve with the Au Ra race and i've been excited about this since the day they were announced Q_Q;;;

I can understand scales being tied to faces, but please please pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease let us choose horns like we do Elzen or Lalafell ears.

I really like the pale skin colors that Xaela have access to, but the black scales are horrid in my opinion >.<

Overall I like them and most likely will fantasia to the one I made in the benchmark.
My one main complaint, like many others, is the horn type being attached to face selection.
I can kind of get lumping stuff together for technical reasons but eh, I want different horns for the face I like. If not that at least a horn scale option. The horns that point more downwards have some clipping issues with gear and I wish I could scale down the horns to minimize or negate that.

I think the Au Ra are quite lovely...i do feel like a few others the horns should not be tied to the face you choose. I also like most of the hair but the horns on some of them doesn't do anything for me.

I think they got most of it correct i am not sure on the height yet..if i was to choose the tallest (female) would she still be quite small next to my Miqote.

Great selection on hair and eye skin colours but please change the Horns tied to a certain face...i like the one i made but would be nice to try the other shapes.

I can't seem to see it mentioned so... my complaint, not that I'm going to turn myself into some freak from another country entirely, is that the gator tail doesn't properly connect to the body (on women at least). It starts like all the other tails at this small point then curves out over the butt into a gator tail. That so looks like it'd snap right off after a jump from a tall height. Aside from that... it looks like a cop-out dragon race ala Bethesda.
