It's kinda confusing but yes. The "Savage" part of the Alex Savage title is pointless. It's just end-game as BCoB/SCoB/FCoB were. Just imagine it as Alexandar Story mode and proper Alexandar.
I'm not really that bothered tbh. If "savage" is "harder" and drops ilvl higher items doesnt really matter cause at the end of the day we will get to that ilvl eventually. A bit of a poetic + coil gear. I'm just pleased that Alex being coil will be more approachable.
sorry to be repeating myself but that's the mean that Alex normal is not part of the end game but savage is? That's what I don't get and I know it's only early days
It won't be "raid" tier difficulty, no. But it will be Lvl 60 content. As people as mentioned, Second Coil (normal) with Echo+Nerf difficulty is what has been mentioned by Yoshi-P, where as Alexandar Savage as been said to be as hard as the (non-existant) "Final Coil Savage" mode.
I'd imagine that Alex NM will be what CM and Praetor is during 2.0. The 'dungeons' players faceroll spam to get philosophy tomes to buy darklight gear. Except it drops gear too. Wouldn't be surprised if it's the same ilvl gear or slightly better than the law tome gear.
That's what I was wondering. Thanks! Can't really wait for itIt won't be "raid" tier difficulty, no. But it will be Lvl 60 content. It'll be the ilvl of Esoteric gear, not upgraded. There would be no point in putting it on a lockout if it's the same ilvl as the normal, farmable currency gear.
As an example:
Law: ilvl10
Esoteric: ilvl20
Alex NM: ilvl20
Upgraded Esoteric: ilvl30
Alex Savage: ilvl30
You can't directly compare dfficulty of 24-player content like CT and 8-player. Just the fact of being 24 persons and having to co-operate among all the alliance adds an extra difficulty, so mechanics need to be more forgiving to mistakes. You can't have the type of difficulty where one person's fail of a mechanic means a party wipe in 24-player content.
I suppose Alexander normal mode will be more difficult and take longer to learn than Steps of Faith, but not a lot more. Coil with echo and nerf is much more difficult than Steps of Faith.
I think Yoshi mentioned that the loot system for both levels of Alexander Raid Modes will be different from the CT Saga and the Coil Saga.
