Yeah, it's odd, and male Raens are quite nice (though I'm a fan of cool colours), but Xaela are more popular while it seems to be the opposite for females.

Darker colours are more imposing, so it could be the image. There's also a bit of bias for stats, but the former is probably the real driving force.

For me, the black scales race were a bonus for my PLD (str/vit) so it was easy to pick which one to go form

As much as I love Raen scale colour, and eyes. The skin tones are what made me choose Xaela for my male, they just get so...pale. Even paler than Sea Wolf Roe and Moon Miqos...Im so jealous.

Another swimsuit shot. Is it just me or do Au Ra have smaller breasts then Mi'qote. They seemed bigger when I was a Mi'qote.

I have both races color. They pretty much look the same to me cuz I can make them both looks almost the same ( I say almost cuz there s a few variations) but other than that for me is stats>looks cuz I do play pve and don't just RP or spend most of the time talking with friends. But that's my perspective
