Not gonna lie, I'm tempted to gender-swap to male Au Ra since I just love how you can make them look. But the female Au Ra were just...everything I wanted in a character from the get-go. Cute, fierce, yet elegant. I might finally break down and make an alt purely just to have a male Au Ra to use once in awhile.

I am female inrl and my fiancé is going to be male Au Ra, sooo yeah I dunno maybe more girls play the game than we thought or a lot of men like to be women *shrugs* happens. ^.^

It's definitely not exact. It's close to the first preview pictures, but I didn't nitpick the proportions very much.

Some awsome light colored face paint would prolly help that issue. although in the xpac there will be an option to light up just your face and how much. So this will fix it as well.

If what you say about the xpac is true, that would be pretty incredible. Back when I used to play SecondLife they had face lights and it really helped make avatars look less harsh and less... creepy. As for face paint, the current kinds would wash out distinctive features (I like characters with definition around the eyes and such, which is why I wish they'd implement an option for using more than one at once).

There's a character lighting option, but not a face light that I'm aware - the lighting option is adding and removing shadows with removed being current ARR character lighting.
