That's awesome! Thank you so much! And hopefully you don't mind if I utilize the color scheme![]()
It's not just about beauty, it's about creating a character that i can fill with a persona that i enjoy (I do internal RP by myself when questing to keep it interesting). I feel that the Xaela version looks a little more intense and serious (with a small soft side, of course), while the Raen version seems more light hearted and and caring (almost completely soft).
However, while i like my Xaela's attitude more, i think the Raen scales would match a lot of my glamours more. (unless i get that scylla casting dps set). What to do...
Though, if i can't get rid of that weak in the knees look, i'm probably not going to be an Au Ra for long.
(This decision would be made if i could choose scale colors.)
After messing around in the character creator today; I think may of finally decided on what I'm going roll with for Heavensward. The star face paint really sold me on this design, as I am rolling Astrologian.

I don't mind at all...ultimate form of flattery and all that.
But after dinking around in the creator all afternoon, I still couldn't make a dark-skinned one that I liked...I really admire all the players in this thread that were able to do so! Keep the lovely characters coming guys; I really enjoy browsing them while I'm at work.
Here's my boy.

Went for the whole Sephiroth look. Mother will be pleased.

Peach Parfait/Khulan Angura on Gilgamesh

Been messing around still, even though I should probably content myself with the Indian-esque lizardgirl I've mostly settled on.
I want to create something good with face 4. It looks super-weird but I feel like there's some kinda potential in it that deserves realization.
I guess this look is kinda...Egyptian, maybe? And I like how the nose bridge scales work to create almost a mask-like effect.
Edit: Some other shots. Not 100% on the eye color.
