Hating On Your Own Class/Job?

Most of the "hatin'" moments are from the Crystal Tower saga. For example, I main tank classes, so it really pisses me off when I pull the boss and another tank tries to voke it off me. WHY!??!?! Just sit there and DPS if there're no adds to tank, dude!

And then when adds come, they don't tank adds because they were "too busy tanking the boss" for all of about two seconds.

Ugh, I can't stand healers that don't stance dance, just standing there tossing out heals... Especially on SCH!

But what I really hate is when they have Eos out, on Auto. Selene is fine since they fixed her AI, but popping Dawn and Covenant when they're not needed is just... arrgh!

Similarly, I hate it when Summoners leave Garuda on Auto. Garuda's only good if you use Contagion at the right moment in your rotation! If you're just going to have her on Auto you're better off using Ifrit! Too many people hear "Garuda is best pet" and just take it at face value, I guess...

Well I hate when I am in party with other BRD and I am the only singing ballad/foe/paeon trough the whole fight, but I never say anything. The BRD know he isn't singing so I wouldn't change a thing.

I main Ninja and always pre-emptively facepalm when I see another Ninja in the party because more often than not, they will never use Huton and put down single target Dotons.

Aw common I love my doton macro lol
but I also use the suiton macro if it's a boss. So rotation is normally this Huton->CD->Doton->Jutsu refresh->Suiton(macro leads to sneak attack) lol

I hate when I'm tanking and I hate it when dps grab agro from another monster that I'm not focusing on by blantenly attacking it

Last night, an hour before maintenance, I came out of the worst Halatali "attempt" on Eorzea. My main job is WHM, and I was running Halatali as a level 23(24? I don't remember) MRD.

It wasn't enough that the lancer took off like a loose gazelle in the streets of New York once the barrier dropped, and proceeded to pull a group of monsters, nearly suiciding before I pulled them off her, but the healer... gods, the healer...

He didn't speak English. Words cannot describe how horrible he was. He wasn't even trying to heal, much less fill his gosh darn role. We wiped because of his goof-up, and he proceeded to tell me to use a paladin ability that doesn't cross-class, involving a SHIELD.

...That made me hate my own job.

I got a similar problem as you. I was a tank. I got all the monster on me. The blm and healer were able to aoe and heal without problem, but the .##@# healer decided to become a DPS. I was using potions to heal myself. I died two times. I ask the healer to cast protect and heals and "she" refused my request. I decided to just leave and use leves to level until the 30 mins penalty was done. I was not going to stay in a party with no cooperation from the healer.
