    Too little raid bosses

    Hi guys,
Don't you think that there are too little bosses in FF compared to WoW?
Like in WoW there are about 10 bosses in a single raid while in FF there is only one boss in each turn, only 8 bosses in total (T6 - T13)

and do you think they're going to include more bosses in the expansion?

Considering we get 2 raids (Crystal Tower and Binding Coil), also new dungeons and trials it evens out. Shorter wait between new content is always great, left WoW after the long wait of nothing while waiting for WoD (the expansion). I'd prefer it if they spent their dev time on one raid and made a Casual, Normal and Savage similar to WoW's way.

Anyway, I remember reading Yoshi say with 2.0 being still quite new, they couldn't risk having a lull of no content where they'd lose subscribers. They'd consider it once FFXIV has matured a little, but I think people are fine with how it is now honestly.

You should add the primals and other trails.

WoW also had smaller raids. What matters is the amount of total raiding content at any given time.

For what ever reason you have not to include first coil, why do you include the second coil then. If we are going by difficulty, then the first binding coil clear took much longer than the first final coil clear. Also if you look under the "raids" category of the duty finder, it includes the CT series, which have 4 bosses each, bringing the total to 12 for coil and 12 for CT. Of course if we are going by arbitrary definitions and not the game defined definitions of a raid, then you might as well include primals in that figure, which adds 6 more for the extremes.

The way WoW raid zones and FFXIV raid zones are handled is completely different.
WoW will (or did) give you one large zone with multiple bosses you could return to within the lockout to take out the bosses.
FFXIV segments the Coils of Bahamut into "turns," which are effectively "pieces" of the same dungeons that are instanced.
However, there's also the Towers, which are large instances.
And then there are the trials.
Let's go over the list of raids, just for 50+ content:
Praetorium (requires 8 people. it counts)
    Ifrit (HM, EX)
    Garuda (HM, EX)
    Ultima HM
    Leviathan (HM, EX)
    Moogle (HM, EX)
    Ramuh (HM, EX)
    Shiva (HM, EX)
    BCOB (5 turns)
    SCOB (4 turns)
    SSCOB (4 Turns)
    BCOB (4 turns)
    CT
    ST
    WoD
    Chrysalis
    Odin
    Steps of Faith
    Hydra
    Chimera
    Dragon's Neck
    Gilgamesh 1
    Gilgamesh 2

That's 42 raids. Before any expansions.

Anyways, I do believe that releasing 4 "difficult" raid-bosses every 6 months is piteous. The constant content patches are great–the lack of hardcore content patches aren't.

(Primals aren't difficult, and shouldn't even be compared to the Raid scenario)

Too few. They are mostly the right size.

Yoshida has answered this question before:

Reddit: I'm going to start out with some raid questions. You announced that Final Coil of Bahamut is going to be four bosses long, I assume, plus four savage modes. Games like World of Warcraft, which I hate to bring up, typically introduce tiers of 10 to 13 bosses. Is there any plans on adding any large scale raids with many bosses post expansion?

Yoshida: Well I mean if you will wait longer between patches then we can do something like that.
I'd rather have the stready stream of updates we get currently than having to wait longer.

I'd rather have a steady stream of updates, however the updates are always the same.
A couple more faceroll dungeons that we overgear and do just for expert roulette, and the occasional extreme primal.

So while I do like constant updates, I feel like we're not really getting much, just replacing one faceroll dungeon (that doesn't even drop decent gear) for another. There's nothing in terms of end game raid content.

WoW has a much larger dev team than FFXIV, also theres a larger time frame between. More devs means more man hours overall able to dedicate to creating raid bosses in a time frame, as creating A raid boss does takea significant amount of time. From concept, to model and animation creation to designing and implementing the fight mechanics to sufficient testing and balancing of mechanics to achieve the correct level of difficulty based around the jobs in game. Plus, due to FFXIV being a storycentric MMO, cutscenes need to be done which adds to the dev cycle of it.
