Don't want to stick through 15+ minutes of combative players not following instructions? That makes you a coward!

It's not even just that people routinely screw up the simplest of mechanics, though that is part of it. The steps of faith takes longer (considerably) than any other trial for exactly the same reward, even if it's a 1-shot win you still have to wait at least 15-20 minutes for the clear. There's no way that amount of time is worth the trial reward for roulette, especially considering that's the bare minimum required.
"oh i got this trial I don't want to do it so I'm going to quit it" Well people it is trial roulette means you know you don't get to choose which trial you going to get and there a chance that you going to get Steps of Faith.

People have the option to leave if they want to as long as they're willing to eat the 30 minute penalty.
If the trial wasn't very likely to be longer than the penalty then it probably wouldn't be such an issue.

People need to stop saying that Steps of Faith is hard.
Steps of Faith IS NOT HARD AT ALL. There's too many players that can't be arsed to explain mechanics and assign roles. And when the mechanics are explained and/ or roles are assigned, players can't be bothered to deal with mechanics properly.
I LIKE the fence. I get 2 groups to laugh at then.

I understand why people don't want to do it. There should be a card drop, or loot drop. Something to keep people there because it is a long trial. I don't understand why there isn't something already, to be honest. But I'm not going to lie, when I go into SoF to help a newbie guild member, it's sure annoying when people leave. It's not like we need them though - we've pulled without a full group and still cleared.

I've only gotten it once on roulette. No one quit, we got it to 1% on the first try and beat it at the kegs on the second. Went better than when I actually needed to get it done myself.

When I get Steps of Faith in the Trials Roulette, it's not the giant dragon or his buddies that I'm afraid of.
And that is sad.
You're good at the game? You're an elitist.
You're using a parser to better yourself? Elitist.
You're making suggestions on how someone can improve themselves? E l i t i s t.
You wipe a farm party constantly but you're having fun playing your way. Nah you're fine dude.
This community astounds me at times.

People used to get Pharos Sirius in roulette and just leave too.

I really don't understand why it's called a trial. It's closer to a raid or dungeon. Come to think of it, I don't get why Castrum Meridianum/Praetorium aren't considered raids since you go in with 8.
