Personally I would say reasonable consideration would be allowing the current Zeta to "upgrade" to a level 60 equivalent weapon, perhaps some sort of attuning to your own new powers, since the weapon has realised its own full potential and is linked to your own power if your power raised (level 60 instead of 50 now) Surely you could re-attune to the weapon to make it an average level 60 weapon. For instance to reference the current patch you have, material melded 110, ironworks at i120, augmented i130, Dreadwyrm/zeta i135. The level 60 version of zodiac could easily just be a level 60 equivalent to ironworks stage.
This I believe gives Zeta owners a decent "head start" when entering the new content, but when 3.1 comes out it is then obsolete and also unrelated to the new Relics. I would also expect the quest to be something trivial such as "prove your new strength" kill some weak level 60 pop monster. As so by giving consideration to the new Zeta owners by not having them do another stupid long grind, they can then give the owners of the current relics a head start for the first 3.0 patch but also won't alienate any newcomers who don't have to do it since they wouldn't be around full end game content until 3.1 anyway.
Current Zeta owners already have a weapon stated to be decent until level 55 and a title. (Z) so I guess other "considerations" could be fast tracks into the new relics, the ability to keep custom statistics, an emote, a mount or a minion/glamor gear set. Otherwise I would just say that's it and I wouldn't bother doing any new relics now simply because I would prepare to be disappointed when the reward for owning one post 3.0 is not going to be spectacular.

I've been reluctant to try to upgrade from Atma to Animus because I [dun goof'd] my first journey through the Zenith phase of gathering Atma stones. I ended up spending about 3 weeks in South Shroud, where no Atma stones drop, until someone actually told me I would get nothing.
The "upgrade" from Zenith to Atma made me slam my face against the desk, initially. Looking back on it now, I came to realize Relic weapons, and everything about this game for that matter, are a journey in themselves.
Which is why, despite the fact that I'm hesitant to move from Atma to Animus, I'm eagerly hoping I'll get a chance to start again on the next weapon and try to do things right next time around. It didn't hit me at first, but the idea of strengthening a legendary weapon reminds me of the Samurai and how they spoke to their swords, how their weapons were truly a part of them.
Three Ilm Knights, One Thousand Malm Road
Just recently doing my SCH. Atma set farmed after 2 days. Animus done in less than a week, my personal record doing 1 book took 3 hours straight. Already stocked alex, so it was just a breeze upgrading to Novus. Now on Nexus light farm phase, but that shouldn't take too long.
You can do it. Bet others already finished faster than I do. ^^
Then they should give those who worked hard for all of the final coil gear to be upgraded and dreadwrym weapons.
Seriously, let it end, people in raiding had to give up the gear they spent hours on on each evening getting to even just for the first kill, this relic is not more important or should have better treatment in the expansion, work for a new line just like everyone else.
Don't know why people thought expansion jobs would be in any way connected to content from vanilla. I thought it was obvious that this relic was going to turn useless and there would be new ones months ago. It's just how MMOs work these days.
I kind of figured this would happen. Which is half the reason why I decided that I was only going to further one single relic on my Behemoth & Leviathan characters. The other half that influenced my decision was when I finished the Animus books on my Behemoth character. So only my characters on Behemoth and Leviathan have a relic on the alexandrite part.
I LIKE the fence. I get 2 groups to laugh at then.
unless you guys have valid proof, stop speading false rumours. lol
As I don't have any valid proof I can't deny what you are saying. But, that also goes for you aswell.
I have not seen you post any valid proof of your statement.
So why don't we all just sit back and relax and wait for some official proof instead of bickering with each others, huh? =)
The difference is that this thread does spreading things that's 100% affirmative and ppl already starting to think things, while I just pointing out that it's still not definite.
Funny that you quoting only me and not the rest of thread repliers.![]()
