Block friend requests option.

Would you just add this to the game already please?I'm effing sick and tired of this rmt friend request spam,and i would happily just turn off friend requests completely to be rid of the annoying obscuring pop ups they create!

It's also a hassel to get it removed using the dualshock controller,i'm sure it's slightly better with m/kb though..bleh

*I am a console player and can not find an option to block friend requests,and also googled it with no luck,if the option is somewhere in-game...apologies!If it doesn't exist,what kinda mmo doesn't have this feature as standard?The mind boggles,it really does.

Two highly needed changes in this regard:

1) Include a setting in Character Configuration to let us block Friend requests entirely, so we don't even get them in the first place when we're not expecting one from an actual friend.

2) If we do allow Friend requests to come in, then give us the option of declining the ones we don't want. You already display a "No" button right there on the request. Just make that "No" actually MEAN NO, without all this ridiculous hassle of tracking them down in our Friend list to manually remove them after having already declined their request to be included there.

I fully agree, this simple option is highly needed.

Actually, I came here to create the same topic, because the friendship request spam is getting more and more aggressive on Zodiark. I often get several per hour, mostly or always from the same RMTs (a few weeks ago, they went over to using their URL + 2 or 3 letters at the end as character names) and always from Ul'dah, Steps of Nald (since i have started to play this game in December, ALL friendship request spam comes from there).

An option to block these requests would be a big relief, since they are much more annoying than RMT /tells (if /tell sound is switched off). Also because the procedure to decline requests and blacklist the spammer is indeed unnecessarily long.
