Stone III Confirmed for WHM

I understand SCH's aren't supposed to be big healers the way WHM's are, but I do think that just having an AoE heal would be nice (a girl can dream. XD).

Personally I like the idea of giving Scholar a respectable AoE heal that is tied to aetherflow. Nothing too strong. Could even put a recast timer on it like Sacred Soil to keep it from being spammed. Just enough to make double Scholar not feel quite as handicapped when it comes to quick party-wide recovery.

Mhmm! I hope some good things are coming for SCH since AST is going to be the "middle job" that can fill either roll without overly dominating the other.

Makes me really worried about WHM's buffs, though. If at least SCH doesn't get them at the same strength, I fear there's going to be a WHM shortage for raid statics as we'll have all these AST and SCH's fighting over a second spot while WHM is mandatory. D:

The only reason WHM is mandatory now is because two scholars can't stack their shields. AST ought to be fully stackable with SCH, rendering any combination of two of the three healer classes viable (hopefully).

I'd rather them add some weaker holy based attacks like dia that synergize well with healing and/or cleric stance, and save my quake, tornado, and water spout for my Geomancer job with conjerer subclass I so badly want

I'm hoping it'll be ranged aoe maybe with lower potency than holy due to it the safety of range.

It'll be a shame if it'll be a higher potency single target attack

Perhaps the new SCH ability is an enkindle-esque one? I think SCH could do with a nice AoE heal, but a CD of sorts could balance it and give players in some occassions reason to use Eos over Selene weaving between whispering dawn etc. This would also mean that selene would have a nice new spell as well if that were the case.

So IMO if this were the case I'd think WHM with new heals and new DPS spells should work great with the others ^^

Scholars are already taking enough from summoners. I hope our new abilities are a bit more creative and unique then what we already see.
