But in all seriousness, I enjoy some skimpy armor in games, but I do get really annoyed that it's usually only for the women. Make it fair and it's fine, make it one-sided and it's bordering on sexist. I admit that ffxiv is better than most games in that department, but I am worried that they're going to veer towards the "norm" and continue the trend of belly shirts for women and spacesuits for men.

No to the platekini. Had enough of that in basically every other game in the world, still annoyed by the female DRG AF armor's stupid bellyhole. If you want a platekini, the coliseum subligar is right there in the game already waiting for use. Don't force your gross neckbeard perving on everyone else. AF armor shouldn't ever deviate in design between male and female, especially if it's just so the female version is "sexier". That's literally the most idiot thing SE's ever done with the armor in this game.

its so sad pplz cant look past *its a woman wearing armor* and look at it as not an object or thing but rather a element of design that can compliment or work against the contours of the figure. But sadly pplz will not comphrend this and will automatically assume *omg sexy curves showing*

And fyi, im all for the sexy or nonsexy on either male or female, as long as the design is actually decent and well done. Having just a plain G-string/banana hammock for pants has no design creativity behind it therefore would be displeasing in my opinion.
