Memory Leak, FPS Drop, Then Crash due to unexpected Error

Let me first start off with my setup:

FX6300 6Core AMD Processor 8gb Ram 500GB HD R9 280X

Basically what happens is, during high stress moments in the game, my FPS will drop 1 one, then i will crash out to "unexpected error" Rolling back my drivers has helped somewhat, but i still get the issue.

Here is an example of when it happens. Also, it happens to my wife with the same setup but a HD 7850

I have noticed it is better after i restart, it only really happens after the game has been running for a couple of hours.

Temps are fine, max temp is 73c with an average of 68c

I assume its a memory leak, is there a fix other than restarting the game every couple of hours?

I used to have this when CT was new and I was still running an AMD card. Mine almost exclusively happened right before or after zoning, though. Can't really say what could help, as it fixed itself after a couple of patches.

I experience the same problem, usually only in highly crowded areas. It does seem to be an AMD-related problem and it has persisted for months. Don't expect SE to do anything about it at this point, my next GPU will be Nvidia again.

Using a R9 280x as well currently and I used to have the same issue until I enabled LOD + LOD Streaming in the graphics settings after reading other posts about it. Haven't had a single crash or crazy FPS drop ever since, but you'll have to deal with object popping into existence at a distance every so often.

There is a work around to soften up the issue where it doesn't happen much anymore. This issue has been around sense the beginning. It only started manifesting when hunts was introduced. The assumption is, the issue wont exist when the new directx client is available. Until then Work around

So I see this issue still hasn't been resolved. Good going SE. Love crashing every 10th minute. Seems to be a trend to ignore every single issue until people stop complaining out of exhaustion.

Got an AMD card and enabling LoD streaming DOES NOT WORK. Worth mentioning that I was running the game on Intel 4000 a few days back due to graphics card being in for repair and the game still crashed due to memory leak.
