    Removing cross-class system For Secret Skill System (Explained)

    Scraping the old system

    New System - would work like this there is 12 abilities and 12 traits.
    1 ability for each class you have at 30
    1 trait for each class you have at 60
    also make 1 ability for making own character 30 and 1 ability when you make new traits at 60
    also unlock 1 cross class slot for each character you have at 60 (no this doesn't count for crafting or land classes)

    these are new abilities. and new traits. also player won't know what they are until they reach those levels what they see is 12 individual '?' on bags or chest in this menu.

    each chest represents 1 single class/job in the game currently. only open if you reach lvl 30 or 60 lvl for traits

    for those who have more then 1 character at lvl 60 will be rewarded.

    these new abilities are not owned by the classes there specially made for your class. but they use some of what you learned by leveling the other classes

    the traits upgrade abilities you commonly use making them stronger then a player who only has 1 level60

    Stats
    You gain 3 additional stat points you can costumely place for each character you have max level. meaning you can have 36+ additional stat points on top what we normally get

    before you say "why would a black-mage as a main learn anything by playing a monk or a class that is completely different the actually job" let me state these abilities are not abilities directly from there classes. they really are "actions, abilities and traits" made for your class. you just so happened to unlock by reaching another class type too 30-60. also this only effects DoW and DoM

    Yes. this probably cause player's re-do there current play-style but benefits out-way negativity. this can be double-edged sword however. yes we will lose a-lot of bad cross-class abilities but we also lose the good one's too

    however each class has 12 unique skills/traits that are hidden can be unlocked. so like if you like any job as a main this would benefit you. these skills be better then ones we current have. and even replace with something better

    also tell its remotely a good idea when no one attacks me for suggesting it

    is not people "attacking you". It's people informing you why you're not right and why your suggestion may need more thought put into it.
    Honestly, if that's how you view it, I recommend you stop posting on this forum entirely (just to be blunt, nothing more). Entirely because this forum is for discussion. This means both positive and negative points can be brought up.
    If primarily negative points are brought up, perhaps you should start considering that your idea may be one that needs some more thought put into it.

    That said --

    Not every skill/ability is cross-classable because it either doesn't make sense for that class/job to have access to it, or that the job itself is actually cut off from being able to have those abilities - like how Warrior has access to Gladiator cross-class skills/abilities and Pugilist cross-class skills/abilities - but nothing else.
    Your suggestion is to essentially overhaul the entire class/job & cross-class system when it really does not need doing at all. It's fine as is, quite literally.

    I would like more cross-class skills to choose from to spice up variety of gameplay a little bit (damage focus, buff focus, debuff focus, skill focus, speed focus etc.) - but that doesn't require the entire system to be plucked apart and practically Destroyed in terms of functionality to accomplish it. That's all fine - we just need more abilities... Which will be happening.
    They're bringing out more skills with the update on level cap to 60, so I'm personally waiting to see what happens with that before doing anything or suggesting anything - especially considering the current system functions just fine.

    To coin the old phrase: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

    As a final note: I personally believe this is a bad idea. A very bad one, in fact.
    It seems poorly thought out as it tackles one "problem" (*cough cough*) without taking in to consideration the effect it would have on the entire system.
    What you suggest pretty much requires that the entire system be re-done.
    The entire system should not be re-done.
