That is one of the hoaxes put by people that did not know the fight. When the arena will be fully slided, there will be just one place you can go to avoid doom, and before see the shinies (shinies!!!) you don't know where that point is.

If everybody is stacked, even in 5-way landslide, the slide's position will be predictable, one of the known strat for +X bombs pattern with landslide is to lure landslide to the first set of bomb then all of it becomes predictable, however the problem remains that supposedly some others can dodge it even with no stacking, and you got slided alone, the party usually will put the blame on you.. In the end, it really depends on the party.. Its not really like the party needs to stack on wotl either, with current gear, most people can survive 2-3 stack of wotl..
I'm not saying it's easy, but if you're looking at your party, there is a deadzone in the angles just by drawing the possible angles out originating from Titan. There's the safe spot.
I understand the combat lag sucks in this game, but more often than not it's possible to just brute force your way by memorizing the pattern.. Not saying that's a good model, crappy combat is one of my biggest disappointment with the game.. But if you must get through the content, it's not too difficult to do that.

The only thing that can make titan being laggy is in any circumstances the party manage to touch %hp in a pair attacks of titan ex, thus forcing a phase change (e.g. Breaking the heart when he cast granite gaol, thus making landslide pop at the same time or after earthen fury) while of course the cast time of the attack itself still retain the same..
The very core to the problem to titan ex would be that it's so easy for the players to die and thus, out of the battle in case got landslided.. Hence one would need a stable latency and dodging in titan ex..
I have done Titan HM a lot. Grind it out. Whenever a Plume starts to appear above my head, I am 100% sure I will get hit by it EVEN IF on my screen, I'm out of the range for the last 3 seconds.
So when I saw the Titan EX fight, I just literally gave up on the Extreme fights.
Stack for the plumes? lol
100%, guarenteed death for me right there
It's not Titan that causes the lag. It's some bad node in the route between you and the server that is either spiking your latency or dropping packets or such. All "lag" in this game pretty much becomes nonexistent if you're using WTFast, but that's because it's routing you differently. It sucks that you have to do that, but such is life.

Yep. Once my ISP started routing me around a particular problem node, I haven't been hit by a single Landslide (outside of moments where I derped and didn't respond fast enough). It's not Titan that causes the lag. It isn't that Titan causes lag issues, it is just one of the many fights that makes you aware of the poor connection you have lol. Also, having ilvl 120-130 gear GREATLY increases your chances of success. Clear this at ilvl 75 lol.
I would rubberband so hard tht it wasn't even funny lol. Everything would freeze for like 10 secs + then wiplash at super speed. Thanks to my extra vit and playing the fight out in my head i managed to survive 7/10 times ofc given the fact tht my co healer would also maybe throw 1 or 2 heals down if i survived.
Once SE puts a ilvl sync for older content im definitely doing Titan ex at the minimum ivl sync of 67
