Abolishment is a serious step, with serious consequences:
Unlike some of the other changes this one is not as irritating but if the choice has been made to abolish the rewards for cards, then it no longer maters if they are copper silver or gold. Infact the whole card system idea now falls apart because there is no longer any form of trading, and infact this means the intro video is worthless as well. See how a change can ripple fourth and effect everything else?
99 levies? Really, why do we need the ability to hold 99 levies.
I have wanted the ability to hold maybe a couple more but not 99.
99 feels like such a cop out on some ones part. Just like with the bags ans several other features. Normally you have a limit, but some one gave up on trying to enforce a limit and decided 99 was an easy number...
Levies, what needed fixing?
1) Available levies shown is 3 per grade level. Even though there are other jobs available I can only see three and no more. Further there are maybe 5 or 6 actually in total per area. That means I have to go to another city to get more than three. It would have been nice to see up to 5 at a time. It would have been nice if after every 10 level divide there was actually more like 20 missions that those 5 would be randomly chosen from, or maybe based on weather and date.
2) Quitting or failing a Levies is one thing. There is no going back when you quit. But when the game has a server or lobby error, I still lose my levies. If I just traded for a really nice bonus, I really don't want to loose that levies. I would like it to be reset and waiting to start over when I log in, not standing as failed.
-But then maybe that's why your abolishing the bonus, you have no intention of ever fixing the server error issue, and you don't want to receive complaints about lost Levies bonuses.
3) Changes that prevented us from taking a mission of a higher rank also slows progress. I cannot compete a higher skill mission and collect a nice bonus. Not since that was deemed useless.
Things that need fixing that have Not been fixed yet:
1) Lobby server drop out, no recovery. Many types of server drop with no recovery.
2) Targeting in Combat. There is still no "target party" to lock onto what others have engaged.
3) Targeting in Combat. target still hold lock on KO enemies, target lock also has hard time selecting other attacking enemies when locked is KO.
4) Direct X 9 errors. Device could not be found, application will now close, and many others.
Stupid Question:
Is the goal of these updates to avoid fixing actual issues and simply recreate the game from the ground up? Are we actually playing FFXV beta?
