If you could get rid of one playable race and replace it, what would you choose?

So if you could get rid of any of the playable races in FF14 and replace it with any other existing Final Fantasy race, playable or otherwise from the entire franchise which would you lose and which would you choose to replace it?!


For me it would have to be the Hyur that I got rid of...

Too many cat-people running around Eorzea for my liking :P

I feel like they're too anthropomorphic and that SE should have gone further down the beast race path.

I'd love to replace them with the Lilty but they look too similar to Lalafel so would probably have to go with something like Nu Mou which looks nothing like a human other than it being bi-pedal! I would have loved to have played Nu Mou WHM! Or even Viera.. a Viera BRD!!!

What would you choose?!


EDIT: Upon further inspection I have discovered that I am in actual fact a Hyur! I mean't Miqo'te. I hate me some Miqo'te!

I would have add Vangaas, I suppose. I, too, would like something more "beast-like".

And I may take an arrow in the knee, but... I would have removed Elezen. It always felt a bit strange to have elves around. It's like... really a classic race for a fantasy-game. Nothing is wrong with that but I would have liked something a bit more original.

It doesn't sound really convincing, coming from some kind of hobbit, but that is still my opinion on the matter. ^^

I'd delete the Roe's and replace them with Allagan Androids. If the Allagans have like a secret race of androids just locked away till someone in the coils awaken them. Maybe that one cat guy who was half Allagan or something :/

Anyhow, I'd replace male Miqo'te. With female Miqo'te.

Actually I'd replace Qiqirn with Burmecian only because Qiqirn look like they were based on them.

However I'd replace Mith.. Miqo'te with Viera. Mostly because the Viera look like they could be made to look more human than how Mithra transitioned into Miqo'te. Also the Viera is also the only known race to have really High Heels as common footwear, for every job and outfit that exists. Heck in the right outfit you'd think they were or a faction under Merlwyb's personal command. Just look up Ching Shih and say they are not similar.
