again 90002 error from ps4

omg was hoping the mantainance would have solved it. here we are again. Paying for not playing.

Please help me understand what the root of the problem could be.

Just recently switched to ps4 version and downloaded the new client and have issues logging in since then (ragnarok server)

i can't even do the update. it will start says it'll take like 48 hrs. then says can't download. i can't sign in. wtf? i checked my connection everything good until play station sign in. i checked online to see psn status says its up. so wtf??? y'all are obviously not running. if i can't sign in. i logged online on my laptop just fine.

I'm assuming some changes have been made, since I can use PC to sign into playstation.com with PSN ID this time but my PS4 can't sense the internet.
Seeing Jon Armstrong's comment though shows this isn't universal.
Some people can connect, probably as many as they can take while being hit.

2 weeks of connecting issues,i called my provider to reset my internet..after 3 days it works and it only last for a day ..when i finished updating my ps4. It wont connect again to psn..So i will call my provider to fix it again..why ..whyy...damnn ittt

Just saying.. it may not necessarily be SE's fault.

That downdetector site has maps and such for ISP's and other services with issues as well. For instance, XBL was also looking kinda rough when it was last archived:

It is just that the circumstances (straight after a patch) seemed pointing to game issues.

and again ... PSN seems ok and latest firmware installed. The little time I have before kids arrive home is wasted every day =(


What really angers me is that they reply to stupid things like requests of new hair-styles or addition of housing items and never come in one of these hundred topics requesting suggestions to solve issues which prevent ppl from playing. I am really regretting pre-ordering HW collectors edition =/

According to the comments feed, there are issues still with services connected to/through PSN (store, games, updates--the scope varies). People are signing in now, but things are getting borked afterwards. Presumably there is another lizard squad attack or something going on. Just like all the other times this has happened, that would be something for Sony to address and not Square.
