I stopped raiding once I got all of my T9 kill achievements. Messed around a bit in T10 but didn't finish it, and have no desire to continue further into Final Coil. I know a few of my friends and former raid members feel the same. I know some others who have been bouncing around PuG groups trying to find a solid group of people to play with and just aren't having any luck. Excalibur has a fairly healthy raiding community and the opportunities exist but, to reiterate some of the others in the thread, you can't force people to get clears if they don't have the time or desire to. Unless players feel a burst of generosity and offer to start helping people clear for less than multiple millions of gil (or players trying to clear have a bit more patience and discipline) those numbers likely aren't going to change drastically.

JP players tend to have more drive and patience then NA players. Which would make sense that they have more clears as they don't "OMGWTFBBQSAUCENOOBRAGEQUIT" after the first two attempts.
Let's face it. A majority (not all) of NA players are terrible. If not skill-wise, etiquette-wise.

We just wanted senpai to notice us

NSFW (due to obtuse amount of language)

NA Coil groups are a lot more demanding with requirements for people to join "must be X ilvl above the recommened ilvl cap, must have cleared before, no newcomers, must have voice chat etc. etc.". As someone who has been attempting to clear Coil without statics, free companies (I have an FC, but no one in it does Coil, so it doesn't count), carries nor endgaming friends, I can tell you how difficult it is. It took me a week to get into an efficient T5 DF run, and two months for T6.
Also Japanese players are against the use of party-kicking or Duty Leaving, if someone is causing problems they prefer to abandon/disband and re-do. So they probably don't have the problem of early rage-quitters and of having to wait in DF for someone to join duty again for another attempt. It's the mentality that makes the difference, nothing else.

Why is this pathetic and embarrassing? There more to the game then just coil, some could care less about it and do other content in the game.
Exactly, when I log in I gather, I craft, I head to the Saucer - I might do a roulette or a Crystal Tower raid for my daily/weekly. Coil and EX primals are stuff I consider one and done for the story(currently cleared through Shiva EX and Turn 6). You're assuming everyone logs in and spams PF every day obsessively to clear, and I assure you only 2% (from the survey) of the playerbase does that.

Well, it's kind of hard to learn and progress without a static when everyone expects to be carried. At least that's my experience. "U NO WIN FIRST TRY! RAWR RAGE QUIT!"
