So recently, I have purchased a 4k monitor, and I have noticed that the "Exit Gate" (the diamond purple barrier in a boss room) and the "Exit out portal" at the end of a dungeon, cause my FPS to drop to max of 30 fps. I run a 50-110 fps at any other area (low fps = Mor Dhona and such). In the dungeon though, I run at least 85, until the purple appears on my screen.
At first, maybe I thought it was just my CPU (i7-3770k), thinking maybe not enough bandwidth to support the stream.... but then I should have low fps everywhere.
Either way, I got used to it and whatever. Today, a friend of mine received his 4k screen, and he has the exact same issue with a much better CPU.
We are both running 2x GTX980s in SLI (yes yes, until DX11, it doesn't mean much, but still).
These two animations/graphical data are the only things that cause this slow down. From 85-110 fps to drop to 30 and under just because of the end gate is kinda stupid.... For him, it makes it almost unplayable during boss fights.
Anyone else have this issue? Or know of a resolution for it?

My computer Specs:
i7-3770k @ 4.0GHz
32GB DD3 RAM
2x GTX980s (4GB each) in SLI
GT630 (2GB) - dedicated to PhysX only
OS HDD - SSD
Game HDD - SSD
From those screens, you can see, that under any other graphics it is working fine, it is just that purple barrier of doom...
