Define your "BiS" because not everyone prefers to stack the same stats.
Hmm Augmented
Chest
Pants
Ears
Neck
Ring
Dreadwyrm
Hood
Gloves
Shoes
Bracket
Ring is optional either one augment x regular i120
Or augmented x and dreadwyrm
As from the many posts on this topic, BiS is exactly how you want it to be for a White Mage. There is no "wrong" or "right" way, there is only your preference.
You clearly favor Determination with Piety. Some WHM's will go with Spell Speed, or Crit instead. While the general consensus around here is that Crit typically isn't the best for WHM's, the secondary stats make so little difference in the end that you could have an even mix of every stat and still be fine to heal all the current content.
I prefer Piety first and foremost myself. Mostly for learning purposes. If I can mix in some more determination while I'm at it I will, but being able to heal more due to a bigger mana pool has proven to be quite useful for myself. Determination at most (with current gear), will add an extra 50 HP (average) to your Cure 1 spell. Where as more Piety will give you the capacity to cast said Cure 1 about 5-6 times more often. Mana regen also goes up with the more mana you have. 5K though is typically a safe number for learning purposes, but I go hog wild with my 5.6K mana pool right now.
Thank you very much for the detailed reply, i will take your advice to heart.![]()
This isn't a "right" i130 BiS set since only truly WHM BiS pieces are IW Chest/Legs/Ring they are on your build so thumbs up. Rest are different flavors of SS or PIE. For me SS is worthless but it's everywhere. For me PIE > all other secondary stats, until pool hits 5k+, then the more of it I get the lower in the pile of desired stats it goes. That leaves DET, @#$% yeah DET, unfortunately besides those previously mentioned pieces you are trading anymore DET for PIE. CRIT is meh, I accept what I get.
i would say spellspeed is the future for whm, if HoTs really tick faster with 3.0. whm also have a cooldown wich doubles your spellspeed. that cooldown is almost useless if you don't go on speed. but if you go on speed it's the best cd a whm has. now imagine how powerful a HoT with doubled spellspeed would be xD
i go on speed and pie because my heals are big enough without det or crit. the only things wich really shortens the healoutput from whm's are the mana and the gcd.
For all around (and i use this one the most) i go mnd = det =>pie > ss > crit, which pretty much puts me at 340 det, 570 ss and 5.1k mp. Hat can be either IW or Wyrm, depends on your poetic vs wyrm choice. http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/QGB8
For raid solo healing i go pie > crit > mnd > det > ss, which is pretty much the "get 6k mp and ignore all rest" build. Perfect for solo healing though i abolutely hate the amount of SS i lose for this (i feel like a turtle if i go below 500 ss) http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/QGB7 so i usually tweak it a bit for http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/QGBB . Difference is minimal when it comes to mp but since i won't be dpsing det isn't important, ss wise when you're used to cast something right when a attack hits, when you go from ~550 to 420 you'll definitely notice something is wrong.
Finally for random stuff where vit > everything else. All around right side with full fending left side. 8.2k hp as whm does wonders on ultima hm (solo orb eating) and greg hm sac runs on phase 2.
Personally, I like Det and Crit for whm. Through a lot of theoretical math, I found that Det is the best stat to increase your base heals, Crit is best to increase your average healing, SS for the best healing per second, and pie for healing more in longer fights. I currently dislike the idea of SS because it isn't often that you get to stand in one spot and spam heal, let alone how often that is actually an effective way of healing due to over healing and smart precasting heals is often better, SS also, by the nature of casting more spells, will use more mana. I can't speak to much on Pie because I haven't ran any coil yet, but from my experience of clearing extreme primals, I don't run out of mana often so I don't think it should be that highly of a coveted stat. This is all down to personal preference and healing style though. My Det and Crit build suffers from over healing when tying to top people's health off. For a list of some data I gathered i made a google spreadsheet of the information: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing
PS: the spreadsheet isnt very well organized and a bit of a mass of numbers but it is meant to get a general feeling for how different stats effect different parts of healing.

This is a common misconception. Just because you can get more out spells out in the same time frame doesn't mean you should. If you need to use Cure three times, you're going to cast it three times regardless of how long it takes; you're not suddenly going to throw out a 4th just because you can, because that's overheal and that's what's wasting your MP, not SS.
Personally, I prefer Crit/SS for solo healing and Crit/Det for everything else. SS may see some more use in Heavensward depending on what they change with it.
