Leveling Speed?

To those saying to ignore crafting until I get one combat class to level 50, how can I get upgrades otherwise? I got some tanking gear from level 15 quests, but I haven't seen any since (which is why I started leveling armorer). My weapon is from my level 15 class quest still. Maybe I just hit an odd patch of quests, but it felt like I wasn't getting the right gear from them.

You lvl to quick to worry about armor and at 22 I wouldn't worry that it is way under lvl. I think I wore green lvl 15 armor till 25. Then every 5 lvls the town your in will sell armor your lvl. In dungeons you don't make much of an impact because most likely your in there with people lvl 50.

For DPS and caster classes, the green level 15 sets are better than level 20 gear, so 25 is generally the first time you'll find anything that beats it. Comparing by levels alone (or even item levels) only works when comparing items of the same quality.

As to having other players at level 50, for a tank that just makes it harder, so gear is all the more important. An on level tank trying to hold more hate than a bunch of over-geared level 50 players needs every point of damage and strength he can get.

Also, at that lvl you're running the dungeon once till lvl 50 because they throw a dungeon at you every 2-3 lvls.

If you are in FC ask them to craft something for you, if you leveling DOH & DOL at the same time then there is nothing to worry about because you can provide a gear for your self. No need to be HQ normal gear also sufficient if self craft. But for your level, crafting HQ is easy for high level crafter so just ask you FC they sure help you.
