The Omega [Weapon?] - Pure Speculation?

Sorry, I can't remember where I ever read it or if it was just pure theorycrafting.

Did we ever actually get any ideas of there being an Omega [implied Weapon] that either the Garleans, Ascians, or Ul'dah Syndicate were after it?

I remember both Lolorito's and Telediji's name being involved.

Omega is not necessarily Omega "Weapon".

There are entities under both names in various Final Fantasy games.

Weapon usually has some organic beast-like components/features, while Omega is a spider-like robot.

Im pretty sure they compared it to Ultima which would suggest it was Omega weapon. Its an allag warmachine regardless. We even know what the allag constructed it for.

They never referred to it as "Weapon," just Omega.

They never refer to it as Omega Weapon in game. Just Omega. I'm pretty sure its going to be the spider robot.



There is also the fact that the Big Node in pvp (for those that do pvp) looks like the Eye on the top of Omega.

I want the animators to make him move like Infermon. Bonus points for a head that can completely 360 when it attacks.

Omega could be an Allagan tactical nuke for all We know, but I like to think that it is the spider bot we're familiar with.

My bet is that the omega weapon will be featured or branch off in to the Bahamut "sidestory" mentioned a few live letters ago. We will see how he was summoned and captured/subdued by the Allagan Empire (Likely using omega weapon).
