"Issues Occurring After Patch 2.16"

As many know there is currently an issue with lag in the game after patch 2.55 was released, as posted by SE. I am lagging to the point that I can't even be in a zone crafting without lagging hard let alone doing instances or even the current Easter Event....

I would like to request that the Easter Event be extended until after this horrible lag issue is resolved because I literally cannot even do the event without constant lag, and even disconnects from the game and I very much would like to get those event items. If I even get into the event FATEs I end up dying from the massive AoE that I cannot get out of because of the lag but 90% of the time I RO and disconnect before I can get to the FATE. I'm lagging so hard I can't even submit a ingame bug report or suggestion because it times out when it loads and I cannot input any text. Basically, I'm lagging to the point the game is unplayable for me.

I'm not 100% sure if this is the right area to put this post in, so forgive me if it's not and please move it to the proper spot...

Is anyone else having issues logging in? I was fine last night but when I went to try to log in today, I get as far as the character selection screen which never shows anything and then bam a 2002 error saying something about being an error in the lobby. Help? Am I the only one? Is there a way to fix it?
