Noobie question on when and how to use IB properly

Hey guys just got IB and am excited. Just wanted to ask you at my level (35) and levels to come when is the best time and way to use IB? Do I always pop when infuriated when tanking trash mobs or just on boss mobs etc? Thank you all..

For now you can just use it as extra damage in any situation, really. The point later on is to pop it when you know a hard-hitting attack is coming up as it makes you take 20% less damage for a while, but this doesn't really become relevant until you're doing extreme primal fights and raiding. But basically any time you know a hard hit's coming up or just for damage on trash.

Well, at those levels, it's really whatever you want. Ideally you pop Inner Beast during attacks that have a cast time, or when you can anticipate being hit with something big. But it's also a DPS increase since a 300% potency attack that ignores the defiance 25% penalty.

So.. till you hit 50, You can either use it any time you need a self heal, any time you feel like you need a lil boost in defense, or any time you just want to get off a little more damage. Every situation is different. None of the dungeons 35-50 are really so hard that it should matter terribly, but practicing timing it... like maybe with the first boss of Stone Vigil's cast bars... will be good practice down the road.

There's also the option to just stay infuriated and get the 10% crit bonus.

    Pre-50: Whenever it's up.

Post-50: Whenever it's up and a big attack isn't coming before you can build 5 stacks again/you have Infuriate/Unchained isn't available or when a big attack is coming. Worry about that when you get to it.
