General Game Performance - Anyone Else Feel The Way I Do?

With crossfire disabled my primary HD5870 would probably burn if it wasn't watercooled. 100% usage and 40°C water temp. is pretty high. CPU and memory isn't used much but whenever I'm in town I can hear my HDD scream xD
Just imagine the loading lag with the PS3 bluray drive... epic failure if released like this.

PS3 will probably run like FFXI ran on ps2, you will install most of the game to the HDD, but you will need the bluray to play it.

Also i can almost guarentee that the loading lag is because of the physical speed of HDDs, the best option to lower loading lag is to invest in a SSD to install FFXIV on, I have heard that this can reduce loading lag alot, it could be the optimisation of the game or it could just be that so much information needs to be loaded at once.

Right... everyone has to buy an SSD(for 150 bucks) for this game. Or they could just fix it? <.<

It fits me nicely because I have a degree in networking, love being geeky

But if the stuttering and loading lag annoys you then the only thing you can do is get a SSD, put up with it until its fixed or quit playing, your only options atm.
