Maybe they'll just unlock all coil, so you can access any part of it you like. As in, removing T5 and T9 as gates for subsequent content.

Coil does have a story and lore behind it, y'know. It's like a book. You don't spoil yourself by reading the final few pages to find out what happens in the ending only to return back to the page you were at to find out what happened. I like how they did it with the coils basically forcing you to go in order so you don't intentionally spoil yourself.
Edit:
Honestly, SE just give me;
And I'll be happy.
- High Allagan equipment is now dyeable.

Hey, I played 1 through 13... But I also know there are plenty of people that went 5, 9, FCOB. Particularly now that it's in the Dutyfinder.Coil does have a story and lore behind it, y'know. If we were talking about unlocking the coils, it wouldn't make sense lore-wise that you would be able to access FCoB without even beating the previous coils. It's still highly unlikely that they would remove that restriction, but it still is possible - just very unlikely to happen because of how delicate SE treats story-related quests.
