So are most of the players then, considering coil is a reserved game for the 'elites' in FFXIV. But hey, wouldn't want content that can be cleared by just anyone, right? I mean those 10% hardcore players would get bored if they didn't have anyone to pick on for being 'noobie'.

We can't just group all players as hardcore or casuals... I don't need echo to beat FCoB, why I haven't beaten it yet has nothing to do with it, but echo just removes the thrill of it all.

I put a lot of effort into my DPS, but with every echo step they add, it matters a lot less... What's the fun in it all when it doesn't make a damn difference how bad I play, cause I'll still hit those DPS checks?

This game in general has too many players that can't put out enough DPS, and I'm not even talking about fights with lots of movement, but even in a simple "dummy" fight they don't get nearly enough. Echo doesn't exactly improve this... Just put some effort into it.

Hopefully Alexander normal and savage will make it better...

Not to sound harsh, but if you put as much effort into finding a group as you did into your DPS, you would've cleared it by now.
