If you don't want to have the echo, cancel it. It is just a buff and can be manually removed.

In all seriousness, I don't think most are against them adding the Echo buff to FCoB. At least, most that I've seen so far (there were a few). Other than that, everyone's pretty much discussing about potential FCoB nerfs, abolishing the Poetics weekly cap, and stuff like that. I personally don't mind the Echo being introduced. Makes it easier to farm. \o/

For the sake of fun, I wouldn't want to see Imdugud, Kaliya and the bird sitting on a wheelchair. As you said, echo is okay. Selling it would make it way easier. Nerfs on the other hand... nope. Eff that.

I personally didn't care if they nerfed FCOB but now I want it to be nerfed to hell and back, just to annoy the people here whining about it. But hey, at least you can still all brag about how hardcore you are about clearing it pre-nerf, right?

They need to adjust the encounters for duty finder also. Since the duty finder may result in four melee dps, it would be more difficult and unbalanced to have magic and physical resistance buffs to certain enemies. I feel this will be the extent of the nerfs, and this patch will only see that and the fights out into duty finder.

After previous patches, the coil turns were put into duty finder without echo but with nerfs for a brief period before they started to tune them with echo.

@Mature; while not all people who clear stuff only after echo nerfs are necessarily worse than those who clear it early, in general the weaker players will only clear it once the content has been nerfed with echoes and mechanic adjustments. You can tell delude yourself that you're at least as good or even better than them all you want, but that won't change the fact, especially now since the content is PFable.

That only applies to regular late-bloomers though. People who are only behind in progression due to late joining are a different story and may turn into the best players we know.

Might as well unlock Poetic's. Right now is a good start, so we can gear all our jobs, and
have more people in the mix of coil and get started on HW.

I really wish they unlock poetics with that patch, Is a freaking gamble to try to gear your alt jobs at WoD.... so much fail

i will LOL if they remove the poetic tomes but they wouldnt be so nice they probably figure its too early make it happen!!
