How do you level alts quickly?

Even if DPS queue takes 40 minutes, that still gets you through your Roulette queue and dungeon in about an hour, and at these levels you're pretty much guaranteed a full level just from that alone even if you don't do anything else with that class. Add in some FATEs while you're waiting and you can make it more like a level and a half. Be sure to alternate between different regions for the FATE grinding, though. There are a couple FATE challenges for doing a variety of them, so it's less effective if you stay in one area repeating the same ones.

your character's class will gain 50% more experience from everything as long as it is below the level of your highest level class of that category. combat classes, such as disciples of war and magic, count as one category together for this purpose, not sure about land and the hand. but i think the 2 might be seperate categories. this means you get 50% more experience from a lot of stuff if you have a level 50 and are leveling something that isn't level 50

leveling a crafter will give you a lot of thing to do during downtime.. just swap out your gearset, then craft for 10 min while waiting.. It's a great past time.
