    Let us Enter Through the Boss Gate

    Give us more time to do so, like a full 30 seconds please.

    Also, give us 15 more seconds to accept a queue please!

    With this, please also don't allow people to pick up their corpses during a boss fight (returning to dungeon entrance)... it's good for nothing, all it does it ruin raid encounters when someone accidentally picks up their body.

    Bumping it up from 15 seconds to 30 seconds would be okay in my opinion but no more than that. There generally is no major phase change or major party wipe style attacks during first 30 seconds in almost all fights I recall so adding 15 more seconds to the timer would be okay with me but any more than that I think you start getting too close to phase shifts or major mechanics. 90 seconds is certainly too long.

    Why not make it entrace-only, and always open?
    Meaning you can cross into it even if you're late getting there, but you cannot leave until the boss is dead.

    How about you don't have a gate at all? Or the ability to destroy it and take the boss outside and fight it in other areas of the dungeon or map?

    Some fights in this game are way too mechanics driven.

    I agree, make the lockout timer be at least 30s. I sometimes like watching the cutscenes before the final boss. Doesn't help that some tanks dont even wait for buffs before the final boss

    How about this?

    /readycheck is automatically initiated once everyone's crossed into the threshold. The boss (or whatever mob) is untargetable until everyone's ready. To reinitiate it, someone just need to go outside and cross the threshold into the room again.

    Once everyone's ready, the room is locked, and boss becomes targetable (but combat doesn't start).

    Busy status makes an automatic no in a ready check. Also, it would only take one person, no matter the role, to ruin something for everyone. the new troll: not entering boss room.
