New Player help

Hello everyone I'm new to FFXIV I am looking for people to play with and learn more about this game and possibly join a free company I am on the prime exudes data center

Have you joined the novice network?
I find that is a really good way to chat to players and ask for help in various scenarios.

if you haven't, then go into a city and do a shout and ask for somebody to invite you to it.
to shout you type "/sh " and then your message into the chat box. make sure you include the space.
