I can tell a noticeable difference in the amount of old & new (yes, new!) players on our server lately. While I was all doom & gloom as recent as a few days ago about the future of Karnak, I can honestly say that it seems well on its way to recovery from the shutdown Just last night I met 4 brand new players while doing behests/crafting in Ul'dah and also ran into many old faces that hadn't been on in a while. I think we can all take a sigh of relief that this once thriving community will soon get back to being one of the best servers in the game

Nice to hear some new people arriving in Karnak! I wish more would come to Gridania since me and the npcs are lonely. Haha jk, but I do wish Limsa Lominsa and Gridania would gain enough people to seem busy alongside Uldah being the busiest of the three.

Come on SE bring us player-enticing activities next update!

Haha, I know what you mean. When I strolled through Grid last night for my master LW buff I only noticed 4 or 5 white dots on my mini map...that's an improvement from my usual though zero lol. A lot of people's computers have trouble there, I know Michael & I are among them (we crash constantly as soon as we arrive). So I can understand it being a little less populated...not sure why Limsa is so desolate though. It was my favorite area in the game before everyone migrated to Ul'dah. I may give it another shot tonight actually, I'm tired of looking at the desert...

I bet if I snuck up on you I'd find you talking out loud to the npcs, full fledged conversation with emotes & everything lol. Just like Will Smith in "I am Legend" when he's in the video store lol.

I'm surprised one of the bigger linkshells hasn't decided to "take over" Gridania/Limsa. Would be kind of cool to have a whole city filled with nothing but your shell.

Haha I don't talk to them, but I should be able to start a linkshell and be able to invite them! I would call it "The Standstills".

hello i just recently started playing about 2 weeks ago and started in Karnak because i like how it sounds (car) nack he he if you see me out in the field say hi just got the game down and wanting to start socializing some and grouping with people you can usually find me fishing and stewing alchemy out near one of the water holes around horizon camp
