Most of the post-game trials are fairly straightforward now as long as you pay attention to the mechanics, people are so massively overgeared in general that it's a lot more forgiving on errors. You still can't ignore mechanics entirely, and I'd strongly suggest you watch a video of the fight on Youtube first so you know what to expect, but it's really nothing to be too concerned about. Most of the people in there are either farming for cards or doing it on a daily roulette, so unless you're abjectly terrible (and it's hard to be so bad as a DPS that you stand out) it's more effort than it's worth for people to get into drama about anything.


Steps of Faith is the only particularly tricky trial, definitely look that one up beforehand as there's some very specific non-combat mechanics to it. The others you can pretty much just wing it if you're so inclined just by paying attention to AOEs and doing what everyone else is doing, but Steps is a nightmare unless everyone has a decent idea of what's supposed to be happening.
