Body, hands, legs, and feet...I don't get why people bother re gearing with this stuff. Its so expensive and you have to remateria it also again for little boost that it does give...

I can see doing it for amount of stat gain say the hat and off hand gives but the rest, just a waste...

My JSE had no melds, or minimal melds to hit 600 GP. So the gear was a substantial upgrade for me, freed up some room in the armory, and I converted the old JSE into materia.

I agree, I don't understand why people ever buy those things on the MB or make one for themselves.. It's not like any of that's required for 3 star gathering either and yet, it still commends a decent price on the MB.

It's impossible to get to a 100% catch rate on most of the big fish in game right now. Every little speck of gathering helps. With fully melded forager's gear and food I can hit 425 gathering. It's definitely been worth it.

Also it looks cool.

Ohh, I see. For FSH it may be different. I only do botany/mining and for those, you can get 2 stars with forager main hand and max melded class specific greens.. then lucis will push you over to 3 stars.. So I saved some money on forager's gear.
