Providing overhealing is not as helpful as following mechanics. Not nearly as helpful.

Think about it, what sounds more helpful to you? Most people avoiding avoidable deaths and attacking what they're supposed to attack to prevent a wipe, or doing a 4k heal on someone with 2k missing health?

Me expecting the dps to "do more" would have meant they would have killed the dragon heads (as they're supposed to. failure to = wipe). Me "doing more" would have healed people to the top as a WHM in about the same number of heals as I did as a CNJ.

My "more" would have resulted in marginally more healing at best (even though as I said, I was already topping people off just as easily as usual), lots more overhealing at worst. The dps doing more would have meant we wouldn't have wiped.

Obviously the latter, cause they can heal 2k now and save the other 2k for later, right?

I have tupperware containers full of leftover heals that I heat up for raids.
