Not the one with the eye-patch, that would be Riol, who is the one on our side (ever do I worry about him). Laurentius is the Wood Wailer you find in the Main Scenario quests to be getting payouts from Garlean troops in South Shroud for getting them information on patrols in the Shroud.

I don't think any of the Job trainers (except Jenlyns) have any differing dialogue after 2.5.5.

From what I understand all the Guildmasters do, but Jenlyns is the exception that makes the rule as far as Jobs go.

Oh yesss I remember him now. Wouldnt be able to identify him by just mental image but I remember him story wise. I'm gonna bet Riol being as sneaky as he is escaped before the Stones was seized since he kinda knew things were going south. That or he's playing along with the Braves to help us/for his own safety

I don't think Riol got captured - he knew something was going to happen so he likely made some excuse for himself to get away from the hotspots.

My guess is we will find Riol at some point to help us find a way to free the Crystal Braves that remained loyal to us. They did mention some were taken.
