HOW DO YOU USE CHOCOBO AFTER GETTING SOUL CRYSTAL?

So just got back into this game. just got my marauder to lv 30 and became a warrior. now i can't equip my chocobo. help?

I presume you mean when you equipped your soul crystal it created a new hotbar for that Job so thus your chocobo icon disappeared. To get your chocobo back (or any other mount), simply open the main menu and select Mounts Guide, click on the mount's icon, and then drag it into the hotbar like you would setting a new ability.

Incidentally, only the first three hotbars are class/Job exclusive, if you want an action to be shared across all classes like mounts or minions it's best to set it to one of the other hotbars other than the first three.

Additionally theres a level 30 quest at Camp Tranquil that allows you to have your choco as battle companion. "My Feisty Little Chocobo" iirc.

I think he meant as a mount.

You must purchase a license from your grand company, and trade to a chocobokeep. Doing so will allow you to use all ground-based mounts.

Since op said he's just come back, I think he was around when Mounts tab was in Action window.

Now you can find your mount in Actions and Traits→Main Commands→Mount Guide

that's why I'm a bit confused. When I go to my "p" hot key which is traits and ect where I used to be able to select my mount icon it's blacked out and I can't select it. But when I take the warrior soul crystal off everything is lit up again.
