[Collaborate] New World Map

At the moment the World Map we have is just one of the Continent Maps. Will the World Map be added to or will we have a series of Continent Maps like in FFXI?

When Yoshi-P talked about Map redesign recently he was talking about all the current zones receiving a face-lift where "each zone/area having about three themes".

Eventually we will have to move on from Eorzea to further away regions such as Garlemald.

I have made a really basic expansion to the current World Map that includes a few continents i have managed to find lore on.

It would be cool if you people with graphical/artistic talents can download the image and add to it.
(Chop it up, start over, add texture, add landmarks ect, ect.)

Also people who have information on lore can add annotations to the Map e.g. Is there any lore regarding a frozen continent to the North at all?

no, Lalafell will be raised for food and sport, either that or used as test subjects in unethical imperial experimentaion like lab rats.

Of course, this will be irrelevant to Players as we will all be hunted down and killed in the empire's witch hunt. (the one downside of the echo really.)

Added Version 1.2 to OP

I have made changes to the map with the new information on The Garlean Empire we go today.

Added the 'Sovereign State of the Eastern Continent' and the 'Northlands'

I have also plotted points where Gaius van Baelsar's conquest of five enemy cities may be.
