Your predictions for Heavensward storyline (2.55/FcoB spoilers)

She tells us that she visited Midgardsormr's bones and had a vision; that was when she became a 'heretic'.

Actually, all I can find that she says about Midgardsormr is, "Seek the Keeper of the Lake. See with eyes unclouded." She doesn't outright say that she ever visited him, nor that she had an Echo vision doing so, nor that said Echo vision inspired her to become a heretic.

So, someone on reddit posted concept art for 3.0, with potential spoilery stuff.

Honestly i hope that image means what i think it does and she becomes part of the crew so to speak. She's my second favorite all time character so far and my favorite already kicked the bucket. I don't know if i can stand another going XD. That whole image looks epic.

It does lead to other theories though about who on which side has been manipulated. An ally like that for the Ascians would be a big help to their goals.

The dragon has the same horns as the one in the Benchmark, so could potentially be an enemy. Other then that, I'm curious to know what are the circonstance for the alliance. Unless she's just guiding us to the dragon instead.


EDIT: Seems like it might be Nidhogg, since there's only 1 eye. Would have though it was the one all chained up in the preview.

I think the alliance will hold together for appearances sake if nothing else. They can't afford to show weakness when Garlemald is preparing for an invasion or Garlemald might smell an opportunity and strike while the city states are unprepared. It might frustrate Limsa Lominsa and Gridania but they still need Ul'dah. If Ul'dah fell Garlemald would have the remaining alliance members divided and unable to easily send support to each other. Remember Ul'dah shares a border with Ala Mhigo that is currently defended by the Immortal Flames.

I think we will have Iceheart as an ally eventually but I'm hoping she gets taken down a peg or too first. She is a little too sure of herself and her perception of the true situation with Hydaelyn is questionable. Regardless of her intentions, summoning a primal worked against Hydaelyn, not for her.

Well, they said he's dead, so most of his part will be finding out how he died and how he actually ended up in Dalamud, which they also said we'd be finding out.

Most possible we will find out how he died ( since it's very interesting, beacuse no one of his brothers are dead as far as we know ). Also how he was able to became a primal ( if he really ended to become a primal, of what we know so far of primal nature, the "primal Bahamut" could just be a clone of the true one )

I have many ideas about what will happen but it would be great if SE could take this mmo outside the box for once and allow us to choose our path and since we are the ones who are always throwing our hero's into the fire. or ice, etc.. we should get to dictate what happens next even. I think it would make for a more riveting story and make us feel more involved. Of course I guess the end gamers who could care less about the lore and story, would ignore it all all and just do what they need to do to get to the final raid, get their best gear then complain about being bored. <_<
