I am all for this, love the cheese shield, or maybe a fried dodo leg sword and a modified dinner plate shield, agree entirely with bard getting a slingshot, it would go perfectly with my Link lala character.

A magical girl staff for whm, and a popup book for sch/summoner, a broom for lancers, and aye a fork and spoon for ninja.

A toy devil pitchfork/bat staff for blm? Or maybe they can just club people with an empty ether bottle instead of a wand..

Neither of those are joke weapons. :P The pitchfork was a seasonal event item that actually had a use in Abyssea as the only polearm (With polearm weaponskills!) that could be used by anyone, making it possible for some class/job combinations to use more weaponskills than they normally had access to. This was important for reasons.

The Kraken club was the single most expensive item in the game because of how absolutely overpowered it could be. lol

this i already know, i did play FFXI.

However, if they did however show up in FFXIV... the KC would most likely be considered a trolling weapon.
And the pitchfork...as pointless as the most event gear turn out to be beyond visual representation.

Still, would be fun to have them.

The nice thing about FFXI is they could make a joke shield or club or whatever and make it equippable by all jobs, in FFXIV they'd have to make a unique weapon for each job which is a lot more work for something that's just a fun and goofy little thing.
