Request for joke weapons

Those paladins in suits are cool looking but how much cooler would they look wielding an umbrella?

I think they were most common in FF VII but there is a history of joke weapons in the Final Fantasy games. I think it would be neat to have some of these in FFXIV. We have amusing armor/accessories but not weapons. These would basically be for glamour only.

Umbrella, pop-up book, plastic bow, boxing gloves, aluminum bat, foam daggers, Viangaa tooth, ...

Thoughts?

I fully agree with this! I loved the gimmick weapons from FFVII and think it would be awesome to have here in FFXIV, just as long as they don't have ridiculous requirements/RNG to gain (maybe put them as prizes in Gold Saucer?).

For those wondering what I'm talking about, in FFVII each character had a weapon that was actually not a weapon but a tool or toy - it had no materia slots, but the tradeoff was that they dealt unusual amounts of damage for that part of the game.

Accordingly, here's my ideas for joke weapons for each class/Job, including the 3.0 Jobs (feel free to add or come up with your own, these are just my ideas, mostly borrowed from FFVII):

GLA/PLD - Nail Bat and Pot Lid (like JimboTCB this is what I thought GLA/PLD would have - great minds think alike )
PGL/MNK - Rocket Punch Gloves
LNC/DRG - Mop
MRD/WAR - Shovel
ARC/BRD - Toy Bow
ROG/NIN - Fork and Spoon
CNJ/WHM - Umbrella
THM/BLM - Lamp Post
ACN/SMN/SCH - Picture Book
MCH - Water Pistol
DRK - Boat Oar
AST- Child's Globe

I'd rather have Gilgamesh drop the weapon skins of the current weapons he wields, just have them "broken" versions for sake of glamour...I really want that Gun-lance. @_@
