    The next 10 crafting levels

Some questions I'd like to see answered as we approach Heavensward:

    1) Will CP be added onto DoH left side gear? Control/Craftsmanship onto right side accessories?

    2) Will the success rates of current abilities be adjusted to minimize failure streaks?

    3) How will star recipes be treated with respect to the new recipes?

    4) Are more craftsmanship/CP and control/CP foods coming in the future?

    5) Is a Steady Hand III skill a feasible idea?

chances are all specs will stay the same side but obviously there will be some sort of base increase, and new gear with higher stats.

skills don't need to be adjusted, use hq mats, food, fc buffs, if need a boost and really crafts should be able to fail to allow for player skill.

I imagine the * recipes wont change much accept get a little easier due to higher stats.

food, I imagine we will get better than current food and maybe cross stats food like you mentioned.

why would we need steady hand 3.??

It was already stated that there will be new skills added, in addition to 1 skill for each class obtainable when you specialize (3 maximum). What those new skills and specialist skills are and will do, you'll probably not find out until much closer to early access or even just when the patch notes go live during maintenance. It's highly unlikely that the existing skills will be adjusted, though they might make some of them more useable as some are currently complete junk (the Brand of "element" ones for example).

I wonder how the specialized skills will work. Are they universal skills? Or specific unique skills. Like what we have now.

Like the gsm skill is different than the weaver one ... Etc etc.

Steady Hand III would make Hasty Touch OP, so that's not gonna happen.

I'm expecting something completely boring, and likely not too useful. Like Advanced Synthesis: 200% progress, 30 CP cost, 90% success rate.

    WTB Inner Quiet 2
Increases control by 20% per stack.
    Max 20 stacks (21 displayed).
Adds 1 stack when using Hasty Touch regardless of success or failure.
    Adds 2 stacks for successful Basic Touch. (230 CP to max w/ SH2) - 1900% Q - 100 dur
    Adds 3 stacks for successful Standard Touch. (268 CP to max w/ SH) - 1400% Q - 70 dur
    Adds 4 stacks for successful Advanced Touch. (262 CP to max w/ SH) - 1050% Q - 50 dur

With something like this you have options.

    - Spam HT for free and build up 20 stacks, with an unknown amount of quality gained, but conserving CP and more freedom for ToTs.
    - Use BT, spending less CP on actions and gaining more total quality, but needing to restore a lot of durability, also less ToT freedom.
    - Use ST or AT, a bit more CP on actions, less total quality, but also less durability to be restored.

    Aren't options nice?

And yes, a 20 stack GS-BB would be an absolute monster, so quality values would skyrocket.
The idea would be that the player has some options instead of just HT, though HT would also be an option... But the end goal SHOULD be that if you adequately meet the stat requirements and properly execute the BT/ST/AT methods, using proper CP and Condition management techniques, then you should be able to HQ things with a reasonably high success rate.

All depends on just how valuable the almighty HQ will be in 3.0

    1, No idea.

    2, No idea.

3, New recipes I assume will start at two or three star, but I really don't know.

    4, I hope so.

5, Currently it isn't needed. SH 2 makes all of the touches that take CPs 100%. So I am going to bet no.
