does feedin your chocos affect stats of covering?? my 1st choco i kept feeding level 1 foods just for little boost til leveled enough for retirement dont really notice anything significant in stats other then cap increase ;/

is it worth feedin chocos or not bother n wait til 9th pedigre then spam higher level foods?

Feeding your chocobo does NOTHING to the stat potential of any offspring.

Is it worth feeding a chocobo before pedigree 9? yes and no. Yes in that those stat bonus can add up and make ranking up faster, no in that any food above grade 1 is not worth using as they are simply to expensive (either to make or spend MGP on)

the parents just give to the offspring:
their stars
the lowest Pedigree +1
and one of their abilitys

You can get four stars at most and a pedigre of 9
the calculation for stats is the following: 40*(number of stars + Pedigree)-20 = stat max (at the begining two stars and Pedigree of 1 this means 100 as max)
with four stars in every stat and a Pedigree of 9 that means 40*13-20=500 as max stats
while i'm not sure how many stats one gets at that Level i reached far over 50% with my Pedigree 1 chocobo for the stats until lvl 40 so I would assume that getting that achievment without Food is possible.

food doesnt increase your rating so yes, you can get the achievement without feeding. you will have a hard time in higher races though, i recommend feeding grade 1 food , its relatively cheap

another question how frequent does colour change appear via breeding?? and are the same range of colours available via the breeding compared to companions??? lol

Not sure about that bit i think the new chocobo gets one of the parents colours.

from what ive seen colors have the same names as for your companion and i saw at least 6-7 different blue tones (for example) so i suppose you can get the exact same colors. You always get the color from one of your parents, so to get your favourite color you have to get lucky and get it from a covering. Also, after breeding for at least 15 times i ALWAYS got the color from the cover, never from my retired chocobo. Maybe its because i usually use higher pedigree covers and you always get the color from the higher pedigree parent? It could be random too.. no idea.
