    PS3 Release

    If there is already a thread on this sorry couldn't find it... Just today i was browsing the online store for my local game seller and noticed that FFXIV for PS3 was on their list for a release on 31/12/2011 ... Is this a set date or is the game store getting ahead of their selves?

    Probably a placeholder date.
    Actually, no probably about it.
    The very last day of 2011? Seems highly unlikely. Especially considering we've heard nothing about it from Square.

    That means it's expected before 2012. Also, I saw a release date of 11/2/2011 for a Gamestop shelf date. Not sure if it was old, can anyone confirm this? I understand it's common knowledge that the date hasn't been confirmed, but always curious

    99.99% of the time if the release date is the last day of the year it's just a placeholder. There no real release date about FFXIV for ps3 there not even any news about it releasing anything soon.

    Yea.. i didn't know stores did that... still... that's what "community" is for... learn something new everyday... Although its a fake release date it got my hopes up...

    SE should delay PS3 release for as long as it's possible imo...
    It's their last big shot to get a good ammount of costumers in,
    better have a really good game rdy when they release it for PS3,
    cuz this game needs more active players.
