FAO Mods : I have recieved 2 early access codes

I also got two Early Access codes aswell, I ordered the digital CE from their EU store when it became available and got EA code later that day.
We get the EA code in a mail and don't have to go through the pre-order code registration to get it like the NA store.
Under my orders on the Store, Heavensward CE is still there and is registered as one of my games under my profile.

We can register the EA code before 19th June and I guess we have to register the actual game code itself the 23rd once the store sends out the orders to people.

Now I'm confused. I'm in the EU zone , where do I put my code in? It's 12 digit long and the mog station has like 4 empty boxes?

Pre-order codes
- Pre-order codes are used here: US - EU.
- They are like this: XXXXXX-000-XXXXXX-000
- You can already use them. Just go on the page from your region, login, redeem.
- Upon entering them, you'll receive (instantly or later) an early access code.

Early access code
- The early access codes will be to use here: the MogStation.
- They are like this: A1B2 C3D4 E5F6 G7H8 I9J0
- You cannot redeem them yet, they are not activated on the Mog Station. They will be at a later date.
- They are the codes used to set your accound to be authorized for early access.


Depending on the place you pre-ordered, you might directly get an early access code instead of a pre-oder code. In that case, you just have to wait until they can be redeemed on the Mog Station.

Just received my third email with the new code, and that's also appearing now in my SE profile page under a button labelled 'View your FFXIV Heavensward Early Access', great!

However I've seen lots of people reference a pre-order code to be entered at the links helpfully provided above. This is the first time I've heard about needing a second code and I've checked through all my emails to find I don't have one! I just have the early access code.

Please can I get some clarification? Do I need this code? How can I get it? Thanks!

Chiming in on echoing this comment. The code I have is in the typical XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX format and does not match the format requested on the pre-order code page. I ordered directly from the SE store so I suspect I may have just been directly given an early access code instead (so no need to enter a code on the pre-order page) but some confirmation of that would be nice.

I don't know exaclty why they need to have a "double key", where a pre-order code will generate an early access code.

The best I can think of is if they already printed the voushers with the pre-order codes on some physical editions, while the early access codes are not fully generated/activated.

Since the early access code is only delivered if you pre ordered in the first place, and the fact that you'll enter them on the Mog Station, you'll probably be fine if you only have the early access code, which is the most important.

Also gotten two separate Early Access codes, pre-ordered from SE's EU store. Is there an issue with the first one sent out or do I just genuinely have two soon to be functional EA codes so I can give one to a friend or something?
