I'm not insinuating that they're ignoring the pleas for lifting glamour restrictions. I'm just suggesting a sort of middle ground, or a step in the right direction.

Headgear is usually not a piece that has enough visual impact to define a class so I figure allowing free use of it for glamour would be lore friendly enough to be something the devs might consider.

Supposedly the restrictions have to do with keeping one job from taking on the signature look of another, but that would only be properly applicable to AF sets. It doesn't really make much sense for everything else to be glamour restricted the same way that it's stat restricted.

I think those that played and kept their items in 1.0 were able to keep them. Correct me if I'm wrong, but back then there wasn't the same gear restriction between classes as there are in 2.0. As such mages could wear some DoW stuff and this is reflceted in Papalymo's gauntlets and the overall look of Louisoix.

With 3.0 around the corner I really hope that some 2.0-2.55 will have its color/glamour restriction lifted due to how obsolete it is.
